Project Management Services
Crandall Engineering Ltd. provides services to our Clients that relate to the application and approval process on projects. Because of our extensive experience in dealing with various Provincial and Federal agencies for funding and technical approvals, this can be done on our Client’s behalf. We are knowledgeable in the specific requirements for these submissions that make the process as efficient as possible. This includes, for example:
- applications for funding assistance, such as under the Federal-Provincial Infrastructure Grant Program
- applications for Certificates of Approval (Technical) from the NB DELG
- applications for Watercourse Alteration Permits from the NB DELG
- registration of projects under the Environmental Impact Assessment process of NB DELG
- applications for Highway Usage Permits from the NB DOT
Other Project Management services that are regularly provided to Clients in addition to basic engineering and technical services include:
- project planning and scheduling
- feasibility studies, including evaluation of alternatives, budgeting and estimating, projecting user fees, etc.
- pre-qualifying contractors/suppliers
- procurement of equipment, special services
- providing progress reporting
- providing cost monitoring services, comparing actual expenditures to budget
- monitoring project schedules
- quality control
- assisting in start-up and commissioning of facilities, training
